Red and White Coasters
Hello,
This is a set of 6 coasters I made after learning the art of warli painting from a friend.For those of you who do not know what warli painting is,it is a form of painting used by tribals living in western region of India.It usually depicts daily activities and festivals and is principally used to decorate the walls of their homes and temples.[for more information please google warli art]
The base is a crimson red handmade paper and white poster colour was used for painting over it.The coasters were laminated later.
